In todayโ€™s world, some of the best personal assistants are the apps on smart phones. Just in time for spring and the desires it brings to refresh the household, is a new app call Totspot. Totspot is a parent-to-parent mobile marketplace for buying and selling gently used or new children’s clothing. In fact, the app has a tight-knit social community of savvy and budget-conscious parents that interact on the platform to earn cash for clothes that no longer fit their kids. Totspot can also serve as a resourceful option to repurpose unwanted gifts leftover from the holidays… or as an amazing alternative for parents looking to update their kids’ Spring/Summer wardrobe without breaking the bank.

Here’s how it works:

* It’s as simple as Snap, Share, and Send. Users simply upload photos of the item(s) they would like to sell and include a brief description of the item with the selling price.

* In the app, Parents can list, share, and purchase some of their favorite high-end brand names sold by their fellow users. This gives sellers the opportunity to be in control of their purchases, sales, products and business.

* Too busy to sell all the items in the Totspot marketplace? For parents who don’t have the time to sell their outgrown children’s clothing on their own, they can have other moms on Totspot do all of the work for them with the Totspot Concierge service.

* Most recently, Totspot expanded its offering into Women’s and Men’s fashion and accessories, so the whole family can now buy and sell in the mobile marketplace.

This may be the fastest alternative to clearing out and making extra income.
